Most notably, he was the Founder and CEO of TheMarkets.com LLC, a company owned primarily by 10 of the world’s largest investment banks, where he led the company for 11 years prior to its sale to McGraw Hill. Previously, he held the position of Executive Vice President, Office of the Chairman, at Jefferies Group, Inc. where he oversaw the significant expansion of revenues and employees of the firm’s corporate finance, fixed income, research and international businesses from 1992-1999; he also led the IPO of ITG, Inc. and served on its board for its first 3 years as a public company.
