David joined BGF in 2013. He is a member of the Central Belt and Northern Ireland investment team based in Edinburgh. His responsibilities include deal origination, execution and ongoing portfolio management. David started his career at BGF based in their Aberdeen office, where he primarily focussed on investments in the oil and gas sector. Between 2017-2018 David assisted in the establishment of BGF’s €250m Republic of Ireland fund. During this period David was based in Dublin where he supported recruitment of the local team, marketing efforts on the ground and completing the first two transactions made from the fund. Prior to BGF, David worked for PwC in their M&A Transaction Services team. During this time David worked on a range of transactions on both the buy and sell-side for a range of corporate and financial investors.
