David Maisel has been Executive Vice President - Corporate Development of Marvel Entertainment Inc. since September 29, 2005 and also serves as its Executive Vice President of Office of Chief Executive. Mr. Maisel served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Marvel Studios for Marvel Enterprises Inc. since January 2004. He served as a Manager in the entertainment and media practice of The Boston Consulting Group. He then joined Creative Artists Agency, working closely with CAA founder Michael Ovitz to facilitate deals like Matsushita's sale of MCA Universal to Seagram in 1995. Later, he joined The Walt Disney Company, as Director of Corporate Development and Strategic Planning.
