David Murray, a member of Forbes Technology Council, is the chief technology officer of Doctor.com. Most recently, he was the CTO and co-founder at ReferBright. David lost 50 lbs and found in that process that even working out with a personal trainer 3 days a week was ineffective because he lacked on-going accountability and support to change his eating habits. His work on Gmail (which earned him the GoogleFounders award during his time at Google), his experience scaling and running product at Raptr and Inform, as well as his own personal struggle with weight-loss all united and fueled the vision for ReferBright. David wants to help people eager to make lasting health changes in their lives to seamlessly find the perfect practitioner to help them. He holds a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon in Computer Science, human-computer interaction, and Voice Performance, and he holds an M.S. in human-computer interaction from Stanford.
