Co-Founder of Carro Previously Perry was the the CEO and Co-Founder of Gaikai, the pioneer of game streaming holding the fundamental patents in the space. Gaikai was the first and only acquisition in this sector being acquired by Sony Computer Entertainment for $380M. Gaikai's game streaming technology is now fundamental in the Sony PlayStation. In 2008, Perry became the Co-Founder & Chief Creative Officer of Acclaim.com, one of the first advocates introducing free-to-play gaming to the western markets. Acclaim was subsequently acquired by Playdom & Disney. Prior to that, Perry founded Shiny Entertainment (a video game development company acquired by Interplay, then again by Atari) known for making hits like Earthworm Jim, MDK & the Matrix games. After 37 years in the business, Perry remains one of the best known video game industry veterans, with multiple #1 hits and he was awarded the Development Legend award in 2012.
