David Yang

About

David Yang has over 10 years of experience in healthcare. Prior to joining Essex Woodlands, Mr. Yang was a Principal with Warburg Pincus in China where he was a key member of their healthcare team since 2007. He worked particularly closely with Warburg Pincus investments in Lepu Medical, and CITIC Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus, he worked at Morgan Stanley and Fidelity Investments in the US, and with McKinsey & Co. in Shanghai. Mr. Yang obtained an MBA from Columbia Business School. Mr Yang joined Essex Woodlands as Managing Director and co-head of the Shanghai office in April 2012.
