David Yin is a Partner at Informed Ventures, investing at the intersection of fintech, AI, and stablecoins. He focuses on both infrastructure and applications across stablecoin neobanks, trading and wealth, prediction markets, onchain credit, real world assets (RWA), cross-border payments, as well as agentic payments and commerce. Previously, David led strategy at a fintech AI unicorn, grew McKinsey's startup practice, and wrote for Forbes. He holds an MBA from Stanford, MPA from Harvard, and a BA from Yale. David is based in San Francisco and teaches at Stanford.
