Denise is Finance Director and Partner with Kernel Capital. Joining the firm in 2001 she has eleven years experience in the Venture Capital industry, Denise is responsible for the finance and compliance functions of Kernel Capital and works closely with the firm’s investment professionals on all investment activities of the firm. She oversaw the process of the firm being the first venture capital firm in Ireland to secure MiFID Authorisation from the Central Bank of Ireland in 2008. Prior to joining Kernel Capital Denise served as Head of Finance at Ulster Bank Commercial Services Ltd. Prior to which she was Manager of Finance and Compliance with Standard Bank Trust Jersey Limited and Financial Controller at the Bank of Nova Scotia, Channel Islands.
