Dennis Teranishi is the President and CEO of PICHTR (Pacific International Center for High Technology Research) and has extensive experience in Hawaii’s business community. He was Vice Chairman and CEO of Hawaiian Host Chocolates for 14 years. Currently, Dennis serves on the boards of Hawaiian Host, Inc., Island Insurance Co. Ltd., Island Holdings, Inc. and Kahua Ranch Co. Ltd. He has also served on a number of non-profit boards and is a Special Advisor to Emmaus Life Science Inc. and ItoEn USA. Dennis received his Master’s degree from the University of Hawaii, and his Bachelor’s degree from the California State Polytechnic University. In 1993, he was recognized as an outstanding alumnus of the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources at the University of Hawaii. He was honorably discharged as a Captain from the U.S. Army.
