Derek is a passionate entrepreneur and Co-Founder of LabelRadar Inc. born and raised in Easton Massachusetts. Derek's journey with LabelRadar began in college while studying Music Business at Berklee College of Music. As a music producer who was frustrated with the process of submitting demos to his favorite record labels and never hearing back - Derek set out to launch and grow a record label of his own. After trying to get his label off of the ground for a few years he realized there was something missing in the music industry - a centralized platform to help Artists submit their unreleased music and for labels to quickly and efficiently manage and source their demo submissions. Derek then brought together and self funded a dream team consisting of the music industry veteran Ed Brew and developer superstars (and brothers) Juan Ferreras and Sebastián Ferreras to ambitiously create a platform to streamline the demo submission process across the music industry.
