Don Schissel is a Senior Advisor, providing advisory services to Denham Capital and its portfolio companies focused on Minerals investments. Before becoming an independent consultant, Don held senior metals and exploration roles with BHP Billiton and certain of its predecessor companies, including Exploration Manager for Russia and Kazakhstan and Global Search Leader - Diamonds and Nickel-PGM. Don began his career as a Senior Geologist with the Manville Corporation in Billings, Montana in 1974. He has significant experience designing, implementing and managing exploration plans and budgets. He also assists Denham's Metals and Minerals Deal Team in evaluating investment opportunities. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Mining Ventures Brasil Ltda. and is actively involved with assisting the company's management team with its exploration program. Don is a non-Executive Director of Ovoca Gold Plc, an AIM-listed gold exploration and mine development company based in Russia
