Doorway Capital is an independent provider of risk capital to law firms. It offers facilities of between £50,000 and £20 million to firms authorized by the SRA to practice law in England and Wales. These facilities can be used to fund disbursements, acquisitions, lock-up, tax liabilities, or anything else. It also purchases paid disbursements from law firms for up to 80% of their face value. These means capital earning little or no return can be redeployed into more profitable activities of the firm or returned to its partners.
