Douglas H. McCorkindale was a Chairman of the Board of Directors (2001 to Jume 2006), President (1997 to 2005) and Chief Executive Officer (2000 to 2005) at Gannett Co., Inc. Previously, Douglas was Vice Chairman of of the Board of Directors from 1984 to January 2001, Chief Financial Officer from 1979 to 1997, Chief Administrative Officer from 1985 to 1997. Prior to Gannett Douglas was Member of the Board of Directors of Continental Airlines, Inc. from 1993 to 2010. Douglas earned his LLB (1964) degree in Law and B.A. (1961) degree from Columbia University.
