Dr. Soudip Roy Chowdhury

Soudip is the founder and CEO of Eugenie and serves on its board of directors. Before incubating Eugenie, Soudip was heading Fractal AI’s AI/ML practice and was responsible for building AI capabilities, including end-to-end management of design, architecture, implementation, and delivery of AI applications to solve customers’ business problems. He has managed more than 100 data scientists for Fractal located in different geographies and played a key role in hiring and building a sustainable AI practice and technical skills span across handling structured, unstructured, and semi-structured data streams at scale. Prior to joining Fractal, Soudip served in several technical leadership positions including academic and corporate setups such as Tata Elxsi, IBM Research, Rakuten Research, INRIA Paris, and others. Soudip has earned a PhD in machine learning from the University of Trento, Italy. He has received the prestigious ACM award for best PhD thesis and co-authored more than 10+ peer
