Dr. Yvonne Kangong

About

Dr Yvonne Kangong is a board-certified Obesity Medicine Specialist with the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She is a Clinical Lecturer with the department of Family Medicine clerkship and residency program, University of Calgary since 2013. She received the Honorable mention -Faculty Award for her contributions and teachings in the University of Calgary Family Medicine Clerkship program, class of 2019. She is currently the Medical director of the Mosaic primary care Network (PCN) - a non-profit organization with family physicians and other health professionals to provide health care to the North East and South East communities in Calgary. She obtained her undergraduate Medical degree from Spartan Health sciences University, School of Medicine, St Lucia, West Indies, and her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Calgary. She also holds a Master’s degree in Public health from Lakehead University- Thunderbay, Ontario in 2008. She is currently practicing Family and Obesit
