About

Ed joined ATV in 2005 and focuses on investments in cleantech and software in the firm's Palo Alto, CA office. He brings over 25 years of operations, management and engineering experience to ATV. In addition to his Alfalight board seat, he is also actively involved with ATV portfolio company Solar Junction. From 1980 to 1992 Ed worked with Apple Computer, Inc. where in his role as Senior Vice President of Products, he was responsible for product development including the Macintosh operating system, laptop and personal computers, peripherals, and product design. Following his tenure at Apple, Ed held a variety of executive positions with technology companies including Peakstone (acquired by Business Signatures), where he was the Vice President of Engineering and interim CEO, and AXENT Technologies (acquired by Symantec), where he was the Senior Vice President of Engineering who oversaw the company’s security products.
