Edward is PingCAP’s co-founder and CTO. Graduated from Northeastern University in China, Ed worked for MSRA, NetEase Youdao, and Wandou Labs. He is a senior infrastructure software engineer and architect. Edward is an expert in distributed system and database development and has rich experience and unique understanding in distributed storage. He is the co-author of Codis, a widely used Redis cache solution, and TiDB, a distributed relational database.
