Employees' Provident Fund Organisation administers mandatory workplace savings, pension and insurance schemes for employees and employers. The organisation manages provident fund accounts, pension entitlements under EPS and life cover under EDLI, delivered through digital Member, Employer and Pensioner portals. Services include UAN creation and maintenance, e-KYC, e-nomination, passbook access, online transfer and withdrawal claims, claim tracking and grievance redressal. Employers use electronic challans and returns for contribution filing, employee registration, KYC verification and compliance reporting. The system supports Aadhaar seeding, payroll integration, oversight of exempted establishments and coverage of international workers under social security agreements.
