Evolving through the first successful student start-up in Greece, we started corporate venturing in spin-out companies in 2003, completing 10+ investments of a total volume of 4,5M€ in 2011. This journey led to introducing the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem concept in 2009 which, besides of course the incubated companies, includes an incubation company, various IT services arms, co-working spaces, VC management and business angel network and business development offices around the Globe.
