Eric Hart, M.D. co-founded Healthstat in 2001 to bring healthcare and preventive medicine into the workplace. Dr. Hart has always believed that comprehensive, compassionate, patient-centered care is foundational to total population health management. He co-founded Healthstat to provide patients with affordable, convenient, personal access to quality healthcare that focuses on prevention and wellness rather than disease and illness. As a physician specialized in family medicine and occupational health, Eric developed the understanding that motivating people to adopt healthier behaviors is the key to mitigating escalating costs. Over his 30 years in medicine, he has seen that innovation in medicine not only allows us to use data and analytics to design care but also must supplement our continuous effort to improve and cultivate the human side of medicine. As a primary care physician, he believes the art of medicine works hand-in-glove with the science of medicine.
