Eric Jones joined CenterPoint Ventures as a Managing Director in April 2002. In 2006, Eric was recognized as an Ernst & Young Austin Entrepreneur of the Year, with its Supporter of Entrepreneurship award. Eric currently serves on the board of Integral Wave Technologies. Eric brings a wealth of entrepreneurial experience to CenterPoint. Spending 21 years building companies as an active Chairman/Director, his successes include Tivoli Systems, Inc. (TIVS), Active Power (ACPW), Motive (MOTV), Dazel Corporation, VTEL Corporation (VTEL), 360Commerce, Fuego and NetBotz.
