Erik Rutten

Mr. Rutten is currently Senior Investment Manager for DSM Venturing B.V., subsidiary of Royal DSM N.V., a Netherlands-based specialty performance materials and life sciences company. Mr. Rutten has been with DSM since1985, having begun his career in the Corporate Research organization heading a small explorative research department working in creating new products and new business in the polymeric material area. He has also been New Business Development Manager at DSM Special Products, head of DSM’s Custom Manufacturing new business group, and Vice President of DSM Pharmaceuticals prior to obtaining his current position as Senior Investment Manager. Mr. Rutten serves on the board of several of the companies he has funded.
