Fabio Saad is a Principal at H.I.G. Brazil & Latin America Fund. With over 9 years of private equity investment experience in Latin America and other emerging markets, Fabio heads up H.I.G. Capital’s Bogotá office and the firm’s investment program in the Andean Region. He is responsible for investment sourcing, transaction negotiation, and portfolio company management. Since joining H.I.G. Capital’s Brazil and Latin America group in 2014, Fabio has participated in over 7 transactions in various sectors, including healthcare, media and consumer services. Fabio currently serves on the board of directors of Clínica AMO, Grupo Meridional, Selfit Academias and Eletromidia. Prior to joining H.I.G. Capital, Fabio worked for 5 years at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private investment arm of the World Bank Group, in Washington, D.C. and in São Paulo.
