First Impact Ventures is a geography agnostic but frontier market focused pre-seed venture fund. We differentiate ourselves through bold and imaginative thought; a truly distributed network among the most dynamic and experienced African/African Diasporic entrepreneurs and investors; and pursuing a founder first approach. Our team is led by Kai Cash, an experienced builder and investor with a decade of experience working with founders and investors to build and support start-ups/ecosystems. Prior to First Impact, Kai had experience working with firms such as CapitalG, Plug and Play, Blackstone, Microsoft, and most recently Primary Venture Partners among others. His venture experience spans across 5 continents.
