Frédéric De Mévius is a member of the ninth generation of the family ownership of AB-Inbev. He founded Verlinvest in 1995, a family diversification vehicle and was its CEO and Executive Chairman until 2019. Verlinvest is a private holding company with investments in branded consumer goods, digital and care companies in Europe and the USA, where it holds minority or majority positions. Between 1991 and 2004, he was member of the Board of Directors of Interbrew (now AB-Inbev). In 2020, he founded Planet First Partners, a purpose-led growth investment platform investing in "Better for People & Better for the Planet" companies From 1993 to June 2000, he was also member of the Board of Directors of Spadel (Belgium). Prior to these industrial assignments, he had an investment banking career in London and New York.
