François Cavalié has worked in private equity for 22 years. He began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen before becoming a Senior Banking Executive at Compagnie Financière de Suez (1983-1988). He then joined IRDI (Institut Régional de Développement Industriel for the Midi-Pyrénées region) from 1988-2003, where he was the regional delegate for the Aquitaine region beginning in 1999. François was also Chairman of the Executive Board of SOCRI (Sud-Ouest Capital Risque Innovation) from its launch in 1999 until 2003. François is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques and ESSEC and holds a Master degree in law. He also teaches a module in Innovation Finance and Management at the University of Toulouse.
