About
Francis is Iris Capital’s Venture Partner in Japan. In this role, he is deeply involved in all the investments done in Japan by Iris. He is also proactive in establishing cross border links between Asia and the Iris invested companies wherever they are in the world. Since 2004, Francis manages the Business Intelligence and Partnerships activities at Orange Labs Tokyo, Orange Group’s wholly-owned research and development center in Japan. In 2009, he launched an initiative to strengthen relations with local start-ups, leading to the presence of Iris Capital in Japan. Previously he worked for Wanadoo France as Strategic Partnership Manager and initiated collaborations with Sony, Microsoft, Philips or Danone. In 1998 he participated to the launch of GOA, the online gaming community of France Telecom Multimedia, and successfully developed one of the first pan-European Massively Multiplayer game. Prior to joining Orange, Francis was a starting member of MultiMania.
