About
Frank Zeppenfeldt studied at the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands and is now a working in the Satellite Telecommunications Group of ESA (European Space Agency). He is part of a group preparing, funding and co-funding future space projects leading to new satellite applications and infrastructure. Current activities include the use of satellites for Internet-of-Things (IoT) applications. Frank initiated a number of IoT related activities in the space domain, such as a M2M/IoT Satcom Makerspace which will allow rapid prototyping of various concepts ion the area of satellite IoT. Earlier, Frank worked in the area of IT networking, military satellite communications and meteorological satellite ground systems.
