In 2016, Fundis, regional development company InnovationQuarter and Noaber Foundation started the FundIQare incubator fund. The fund focuses on start-ups that provide innovative products and / or services that improve the quality of life of frail elderly, chronically ill and caregivers. The care for these groups is under pressure due to the increase in the number of elderly people, the longer independent (wanting to) live and the changing welfare state with a retreating government. Through the collaboration, the parties are able to open up a large user group, finance and professionalize companies so that they are able to scale up nationally.
