Gary has over 10 years of venture capital experience and has represented BDC as the lead investor on numerous life science investments. He currently sits on the Boards of multiple life science-based companies. Prior to joining the BDC, Gary worked as a research scientist in the area of drug discovery for a number of pharmaceutical companies. He holds a M.Sc. in organic chemistry and MBA in New Venture Development from the University of Calgary. Gary is the co-inventor on two pharmaceutical based patents and co-author on over a dozen scientific publications.
