Gavin Lyons was appointed Chief Executive Officer on the 1st August 2012 having joined from SAP where he was divisional head of the telecoms and utilities sectors. Gavin has demonstrated considerable success in a number of senior management roles over the last 10 years with experience in sales, channel, strategy, demand generation marketing, product strategy and customer relationship development with organisations operating in the IT and B2B markets. Gavin has considerable experience in the security sector having helped build Identum, a venture capitalist backed email encryption business, before its sale to Trend Micro in 2008. After the acquisition Gavin remained at Trend Micro serving in a variety of director positions including Director of SIs and MSPs, Sales Director and latterly Sales & Channel Director for UK&I.
