Gen Miyazawa is a young Japanese entrepreneur with deep roots in the mobile industry. Currently he is the COO/CFO of the Marketing Solution Company in Yahoo! JAPAN since July 2012. This company provides all of the Yahoo’s B2B services including advertising business and cloud business and has 1,100 employees, an annual net revenue of USD 25B. Gen is also an active and accredited seed-stage angel investor with representative investments in App Grooves (Palo Alto, U.S.A, part of 500 Startups), A2V Infosolutions (Delhi, India), Hapyrus (Palo Alto, U.S.A, part of 500 Startups) and Lindoc (Tokyo, Japan). After earning a degree in Biotechnology at the University of Tokyo, Gen founded Cirius Technologies in 2004 at the age of 22. In 2008, his mobile SEO service was acquired by Aun Consulting, a company listed in the Tokyo stock exchange. In 2010, his location-based mobile ad platform called “AdLocal” was acquired by Yahoo!
