Geoffroy started his professional career in 1996 at Mercer Management Consulting, as a consultant notably on pricing strategy, and primarily within the telecom, retail and banking industries. In 1998, he founded his first venture, Optitel, a phone bills comparator business. In 2000 Geoffroy co-founded Panoranet / Empruntis.com. With only €1.8m funding, he developed the company through an LBO with 3i and then sold it to COVEA for €100m in February 2008. The company had at the time 300 employees, a €20m turnover and a €6m EBIT. He also was an LP of Aurinvest Capital 2 and a member of HEC foundation’s board, during 2 years. In 2012, Geoffroy co-raised and managed Aurinvest Capital 3, a €22m entrepreneur fund (seed and early stage tech). Between 2007 and 2011, as a business angel, Geoffroy invested in and coached many entrepreneurs. Geoffroy is also an early member of the international association, French Founders.
