George S. Batejan

George Batejan is Executive Vice President, Global Head of Technology and Operations. Mr. Batejan joined Janus in October 2010 and is responsible for all middle and back office operations globally, including technology. He also serves as a member of Janus' Executive Committee. Prior to joining Janus, Mr. Batejan was senior vice president and chief information officer at Evergreen Investments, Inc. Mr. Batejan's experience includes serving as executive vice president and chief information officer for Oppenheimer Funds, Inc. and 18 years at The Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. where he served in positions ranging from vice president and division executive for the Americas' Service Delivery Group, Private Banking, to vice president and Chief Information Systems Officer, Asia. Mr. Batejan earned a bachelor of science degree in physics and a master of science degree in management and industrial engineering, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
