Gerard Montanus joined Atlas Venture as an Investment Manager in 1984 and became a General Partner in 1992. Gerry began his career at ING Bank, specializing in financial services for medium and large-sized companies. He opened Atlas Venture's London office in 1997 and divides his time between Amsterdam and London. He studied Business Economics and has attended one of the Harvard University Executive Programs. Gerry was a lead investor in Prolin Automation, which was acquired by Hewlett-Packard. Currently Gerry serves on the Boards of Aethos, Danionics, Orchestream and Ridgeway.
