Gibs Song serves as Board Member & General Partner at VSV Capital with diverse experience ranging from technology development to venture investing. He is engaged in all aspects of running a VC firm including fundraising, making investment decisions, managing investment portfolio, mentoring and coaching, developing alliance and exit strategy for our investments. Prior to joining VSVA, Gibs was a partner of Big Basin Capital, a Silicon Valley based venture capital firm. Gibs’ other appointments include Director of US Operations for Samsung Corporate R&D Center and Partner at Samsung Corporate Ventures. Gibs first got involved in startup investing as an angel investor. Gibs invested in more than 16 companies in USA, Argentina, Korea and Vietnam, and remains as active advisor for nearly half of them.
