Gil Avraham Weisblum is the Senior Managing Director of Ranger Global Advisors. He is also the President of GAW Ventures LLC, an investment vehicle that actively allocates capital to public and private investment opportunities on behalf of a high-net-worth family and a network of co-investors. Prior to forming GAW Ventures, Gil was most recently a Managing Director at JMB Capital, a global opportunistic hedge fund with over $1 billion in capital. From September 2002 through March 2006, Gil was a senior analyst at Mellon HBV Alternative Strategies, a multi-strategy hedge fund that managed over $1 billion in assets. At Mellon HBV, Gil was responsible for sourcing and evaluating event-driven and special situation investment opportunities.
