Giuseppe Recchi was born in Naples, in1964. He is now Deputy Chairman of Telecom Italia and he has been Executive Chairman of the Group from April 2014 to June 2017. He was Chairman of the Board of Eni SpA from 2011 to 2014. He is a member of the Board of Directors of UnipolSai Assicurazioni SpA. He is also a member of the General Committee of Confindustria (where he chaired the Foreign Investment Committee); the Italian Institute of Technology; the Corporate Governance Committee and of the Board of Assonime (Italian Joint Stock Companies). He is Chair of the B20 Task Force on Improving Transparency and Anti-Corruption. Until 1999 he was an entrepreneur with Recchi Costruzioni Generali, a general contractor active in 25 Countries in the construction of high-tech public infrastructure, spending most of his professional life in the United States.
