Founded in 2008 by Gary M. Holloway, GMH Ventures was established to serve as the middle market investment subsidiary of GMH Associates, Inc. Led by Michael Holloway and Dennis O’Leary, the firm deploys capital, actively manages portfolio companies, and oversees growth trajectories of its investments. The overriding strategy is to create long lasting relationships and sustainable businesses in a wide array of industries; successfully diversifying funds from a liquidity event in 2008. At that time, GMH Communities Trust (GCT) was the largest owner and operator of domestic off campus student housing.
