He is the longest-serving CEO of the company, after the founder Paul Galvin and his son Bob. Brown was also named to Forbes America’s Top 100 Most Innovative Leaders in 2019. Brown earned a bachelor's degree in economics and an honorary doctorate in humane letters from Rutgers University.
