As Logitech’s chairman, Guerrino Luca supervises the company’s strategy and performance. De Luca joined Logitech as president and chief executive officer in early 1998, and became a member of the board of directors a few months later. During this tenure as Logitech's chief executive officer from 1998 to 2008, the company posted nine consecutive years of record sales and profits as its annual revenue grew from $400 million to more than $2.1 billion, and its operating income grew from $16 million to more than $230 million. Since 2008, De Luca has served solely as chairman of the board, except from July 2011 through December 2012, when he resumed the executive leadership role prior to turning it over to Bracken P.
