Gunnar is a Partner focusing on building the firm’s capability and presence around the closely-held company and Multi-Family Office (MFO) space in both developed and emerging markets. Gunnar, former Co-Head of HSBC Global Banking, Coverage and Client Management for EMEA, has advised on cross border mandates in the Middle East, India, Europe and the US. Gunnar serves as Senior Counselor to a group of large industrial families. Prior to HSBC, Gunnar was a Managing Director at Barclays Capital and Credit Suisse First Boston in New York and London. Gunnar began his career with The Boston Consulting Group in Munich. Gunnar received a BA from the Stockholm School of Economics and a MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
