Hajime Shimazu

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tokyo and completed the Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the Haas Graduate School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. After working for the Boston Consulting Group, engaged in private equity investment business at Bain Capital since 2012. Since 2020, he has participated in the Japan Search Fund Accelerator and is in charge of search activities for searchers, acquisition negotiations, and management support after corporate succession. He has also served as an outside director at the successor company of the searcher (Shiomi-gumi Co., Ltd., etc.). He serves as Chief Investment Officer at Japan Search Fund Accelerator.
