Harjinder Johal

Harjinder joined Balderton as Head of Investor Relations in December 2015. She leads the Fundraising and Investor Relations of the firm. Prior to joining, Harjinder was Head of Fundraising and Investor Relations at Darwin Private Equity where she led the fundraising of their inaugural fund, established the Investor Relations function and managed the Investors of the firm. She was previously at Permira, where she worked on the fundraising of Permira’s €5.1 billion third European fund and managed over 300 global investors as a member of Permira’s Investor Relations team. Harjinder has also worked as a Limited Partner at the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC) and Abbey National Treasury Services, focused on primary fund investments and co-investments. Harjinder is a Chartered Management Accountant and holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics and Accountancy from City University.
