About

The Health Enterprise Development Initiative (HEDI) is a training program for entrepreneurs creating companies fostering healthy eating, active living, and other missions promoting health for consumers, suppliers, and communities. HEDI is a collaboration between the Bainbridge Graduate Institute, Public Health Seattle King County, Slow Money Northwest, Kick (the “inclusive” incubator), and GPS Capital Partners. The HEDI program is an enterprise accelerator that meets in-person four times across 11 weeks, and online weekly in the intermediate weeks. This is a “hybrid” structure that combines online and in-person learning, similar in structure to the Hybrid MBA offered by the Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI). The application process for HEDI’s first session is open to any non-profit or for-profit enterprise meeting the mission of promoting healthy local food systems.
