Heather Preston has served on Otonomy’s board of directors since August 2010. Heather Preston is currently employed as a partner and managing director of TPG Biotech, a biotechnology venture capital firm. Heather Preston joined TPG in 2005. She currently serves on the board of directors of Alder Biopharmaceuticals, Inc., a public company and on the boards of a number of private companies. Prior to joining TPG Biotech, Heather Preston served for two years as a medical device and biotechnology venture capital investor at JP Morgan Partners, LLC, a private equity firm. Prior to that, she was an entrepreneur-in-residence at New Enterprise Associates, a venture capital firm. From 1997 to 2002, Heather Preston served as a leader of the pharmaceutical and medical products consulting practice at McKinsey & Co. in New York.
