Henry Lee is the Managing Partner of Hendale Fund which invests in promising growth stage companies globally through a committed capital fund. After being a Principal at the Bass Brothers family office in Texas for 6 years, Henry founded Hendale Asia, one of the first Asian-based multi-strategy alternative funds in 1996. Hendale now specializes in direct private investments in globally via a family office oriented permanent capital structure. His previous experience includes being CIO of Nan Fung – a large private real estate and investment conglomerate, where he managed a multi-billion diversified investment portfolio. Prior to that, he managed the Asia operation of Sandell, a large global hedge fund and was an Executive Director of UBS Global Asset Management responsible for alternative fund allocations globally.
