Herb Shear is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder at G2 Reverse Logistics. He previously worked as the CEO of GENCO. Herb now spends time making interesting supply chain company investments, usually at private equity level. Previously, for 40 years he lead his family’s 3PL business, GENCO that, Herb grew dramatically by focusing on reverse logistics as B2C/online volumes grew several fold. GENCO was sold a few years ago and is now FedEx Supply Chain. Herb deeply understands trucking carriers and freight brokerages as he has invested in both directly.
