Hiroshi Kakihira

About

Mr.Hiroshi Kakihira is a venture partner focusing on clean technology investments. He was seconded from Asahi Kasei Corporation in December 2012 as part of the collaboration between Mitsui Global Investment and Asahi Kasei Group. He joined Asahi Kasei in July 2008 and engaged in R&D of optical materials for LCD-TVs over 4 years. Prior to joining Asahi Kasei, Mr. Kakihira worked at Canon Group for 10 years designing photo papers and developing technologies for inkjet printers. He holds a Master’s degree in material science from the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
