Hong Rao jointed Intel Capital in 2007. Prior to Intel Capital, Hong was a partner in Prime Capital, a financial advisory firm, and the CFO/COO in Photo International, a VC-funded startup company in China. Prior to that, Hong came with over 10 years of industrial experience from HP, Siebel and Microsoft. And his responsibility in Microsoft includes the development of competitive strategy and response between Windows platform and Open Source. Hong is now the board observer in JoySee, Cloud Union, United Information Technology, Miaxis, Verisilicon, Chipsbank. Hong has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
